"I have Creek & Offshore fished the beautiful Edisto area longer than any captain in this area.  I strongly believe in keep what you can use and tag & release everything else.  I started chartering in 1990 and run a 25' Sportcraft named BubbaDuck with a new 1997 engine and outdriver.  I fish 1-4 people which makes your charter more personalized.  For offshore fishing I recommend children be at least 12 years or older with some open water experience since most of my offshore trips are beyond sight of land.  Children under 12 lose interest very quickly if not kept busy within the first 1/2 to 1 hour whether offshore or creek fishing.  Our coastline lies far inland on the coast.  The Gulf stream runs 60-75 miles offshore, but we have excellent Wahoo, Tuna and Dolphin fishing well inside this area.  King Mackeral are caught right off our beach running15-50 Pounds.  Spanish Mackeral ( which I highly recommend for youngsters ) 5-6 miles off the beach on spinning rods.  They are normally plentiful from June through August and into September.  Our creeks provide excellent fishing for Red Fish, Trout and Flounder.  For this type of fishing I use my world renowned 17' Seabreeze boat which deserves and appreciates it's name of the Ugly Ducklin.  The ugliest boat in the Edisto ( or probably anywhere else ) in the Fleet.  But it's probably caught more fish than all the others combined."
